The idea of creating a clarinet ensemble, performing works of various genres and having a concert repertoire of both traditional programs as well as innovative ones for listeners, was created in the fall of 2007, uniquely by musicians themselves. Non-traditional programs are not the aim for the musicians, but working in the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra offers an excellent opportunity for creative experiments with performers of other musical instruments. In this sense the title – "Clarinet Club", and we are open to creative innovations, if they meet our basic ideas.

The basic idea "Clarinet Club" - we play for you and your pleasure. Therefore, all concert programs are thought up carefully, so that the listener can enjoy the concert, free from the unfortunate additional listening portion "of academic boredom". To put it simply, at our concerts you will find interesting programs. This was demonstrated at our first performances at the Mariinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg Conservatory and on tour in Eilat (Israel).
